Gabriela Tsonkova is a Set and Costume designer of Bulgarian origin. She studdied in United Kingdom both her degrees, the BA in Royal Conservatoire of Scotland (RCS) - Production Arts and Design and the MA in the University of Arts London (UAL) - Theatre Design specializing in Operatic designing.

The love for music and painting started at a very young age. After some time, the canvas felt not enough, and the paintings did not sing either dance, she simply needed to give life to her unspoken dreams. Seeking for dimentions and twisting the reality perspectives was the real urge she looked for and suddenly Theatre, it became that new perpetual world; a life, where she is driven by architectural chaos, a need to weight life and death/ truth and magical realm, to re-draft the boundaries of imagination. There is a certain amount of magical charm in the theatrical mortality - it ends with a memory, and is always a different one.

In a world so artificial and mandated; a world in which all humanity benumbs their own consciousness with bitterly sick aspirations and hideous dreams drowned in a lack of passion, Gabriela believes that it is possible to reveale possibilities beyond their limits to the public/audience by combining a perfect formation between prose, sound, light, stage images and movement, everything in certain combination affects the human perception and levels of subconsuisness. It is important to twist the reason in a pattern that could be also a random one.

"Theatre is my "magical magnit of existance". Everything started with darkness.
